Vsehsvyatsky church

Vsehsvyatsky church is one of the highest temples on territories of the CIS, the temple Belarusian exarchate of Russian Orthodox Church. Height of the temple is 72 meters, together with a cross 74 meters. At the same time the temple can accept to 1200 believers. The construction of the temple was begun in 1991, and active construction was begun in 2005. The mortgage stone was consecrated by patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexey the Second during the first visit to Belarus as the patriarch. In 1996 in the basis of the temple the capsule with the address to descendants was put.

Today Vsehsvyatsky church is the only temple memorial in Minsk. The crypt of the temple is unique and has no analogues in the world. In crypt 504 niches are located, in each of which crystal capsules are located. It is planned to collect in these capsules the earth from fields of all large historical battles where Belarusians were at war. In 2010 in crypt remains of three unknown soldiers who have died in battles in three soldiers: Patriotic war of 1812, World War I and World War II were buried.

On April 11, 2012 in crypt "The memory board" - a tribute to the memory of victims was open for Vsehsvyatsky church during the tragedy at the October metro station in 2011. In the temple it is planned to place also archive in which data on the Belarusians who have become victims of wars, repressions and acts of terrorism will be collected.
