Day 1- Arrival to Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Overnight in Minsk.

Day 2 - Morning Minsk, city tour including Independance Squere with the House of Government, the "Red"Roman catholic Church, Victory Square with its38 metres grey obelisk and eternal flame to the heroes of World War II, Yanka Kupala Park, Trinity Suburb with restired buildings of the 19 th c., Holy Trinity Cathedral and St. Catherine's Church- architectural monuments of the 17 th c. Overnight in Minsk.

Day 3 – Morning transfer Minsk- Vilnius. Accommodation on arrival to Vilnius. Free time.


Day 4 – Morning Vilnius Old Town tour including the cathedral, the main Catholic shrine erected on the site where pagan Gods were worshipped, the elegant St. Anne’s Church, a gem of the Lithuanian Gothics, the University founded in 1579, the Dawn Gate with a holy icon of Virgin Mary, Gediminas Castle, the symbol of Vilnius, on the hill.
Afternoon departure to Trakai, 28 km from Vilnius, the ancient capital of Lithuania, famous for its 15 th c. Gothic Castle on the island in Galve Lake. Castle visit.

Day 5 Morning departure for Kaunas. Lithuanian’s second largest city. After accommodation city sightseeing tour includes: 15-18 th c. Cathedral, the Jesuits’ hurch, the Town Hall Square, Holy Trinity Church and nearby Catholic Seminary, the early 15 th c. Vytautas Church. A visit to Pazaislis Monastery erected in the middle of the 17 th c. by Camalduli monks to see the famous oly image of Virgin Mary. Overnight in Kaunas.

Day 6 – Morning transfer along a picturesque Nemunas riverside road to Kaliningrad Region via Sovietsk (Tilsit). Overnight in the vicinity of Kaliningrad, in Svetlogorsk, a beautiful resort on Zamland peninsula on the Baltic coast. Enjoy the town’s pine woods and beaches, visit a former Catholic Church where organ summer concerts are held daily, the sculpture park, the 19 th century Water Tower and Art Noveau bathhouse.

Day -7 Departure for sightseeing in Kaliningrad to visit the historic 13 th c. Cathedral, the tomb of a famous German philosopher Immanuel Kant beside its walls, the University, Dona Bastion, Lasch Bunker and other sights of the city with its German cultural heritage of the past 700 years under the name of Koenigsberg. Afternoon tour to Yantar settlement and its amber mines. Return to Svetlogorsk for overnight.

Day 8 – Morning transfer to Klaipeda via the Curonian Spit, a narrow strip of land between the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea. The first stop in Nida, the resort of serene beauty, included into the UNESCO World Heritage List, noted for its dunes of 50-60 m high, a real Lithuanian Sakhara. The second stop in Juodkrante to visit the Hill of Witches, impressive wooden sculptures in a dense pine wood. After a ferry crossing of the Couronian Lagoon you reach Klaipeda, the Lithuanian port city. Overnight in Klaipeda.

Day 9 – After a short morning tour of Klaipeda Old Town, a transfer to Riga with two stops: first at the Hill of Crosses, a holy site of Catholic piligrimage, the second after crossing the Lithuanian- Latvin border, in Rundale, to visit its 18 th c. Baroque Palace, created by the famous Italian architect Rastrelli. Overnight in Riga.

Day 10 – Morning walking tour of Old Riga including the most famous architectural monuments: 13 th c. St. Peter’s Church, the Dome Cathedral and its famous 19 th c. organ – one of the biggest organs in Europe, medieval dwelling houses “Three Brohers”, 13 th c. St. Jacob’s Church, 14 th c. Riga Castle. Afternoon free.

Day 11 – Departure for Parnu, the Estorian seaside resort. The walking tour includes the Town Hall, Catherina Church, the Orthodox church built in tht 17 century and named after the Russian empress Catherine II, the Tallinn Gate. A further drive to Virtsu harbour, to visit Muhu and Saaremaa islands. Ferry to Muhu island. Visit of Eemu windmill, the 13th c. Poide church and ethnographic Koguva village (founded in 1532), the living village ethnographic museum. Continuation to Saaremaa. Visit of Karja (13th century) and Anglawindmills.
Drive to Kuressaare. On the way a visit of Kaali lake meteorite craters, the biggest with the diameter of 110 m. Overnight in Kuressaare.

Day 12 – Morning tour of Kuressaare: the Episcopal castle (14th c.), the only fully preserved medieval castle in Estonia, the 17 th century Baroque Town Hall, Resort club (1899), the Weigh house and the Market Hall. Departure from Kuressaare to Kuivastu harbour, back to mainland. A further drive to Tallin, capital of Estonia for overnight.

 Day 13 – Morning Tallinn walking tour includes The Upper Town – Toompea Hill, the 13 th c. Gothic style Dome Cathedral, perfect city panorama. In the Lower Town the tour includes the GothicHall, the pharmacy, opened in 1422 and still functioning, the Great Guild and Blackheads Fraternity Houses, both from the 15 th c. Overnight in Tallinn.


Day 14 – Departure home.
