Day 1
Arrival in Vilnius. Welcome meeting with a representative of ALATAN TOUR partner.
Accommodation at a hotel. Dinner.
Day 2
Brekfast.
Vilnius city tour includes the Cathedral and the Cathedral Square, Bell Tower, Lithuanian Gothic nook - an ensemble of St. Anna and Bernardines' Church, Pilies street, Presidential Palace, an ensemble of Vilnius University with 13 courtyards and Church of St. John, the former Jewish Ghetto area, Town Hall Square, the Gate of Dawn with a chapel, which is housed a holy image of the Virgin Mary, reputed for miracle-working powers. Lunch.
Transfer to Trakai Castle (15th cent.), the ancient Lithuanian capital, the residence of Grand Dukes of the country. Nowadays the castle hosts the museum of Lithuanian history, which introduces the story of the small ethnic group Karaites, brought by Vytautas the Great from Crimea 600 years ago.
Dinner. Evening folklore show.
Day 3
After breakfast trip to Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus.
Arrival in Minsk. Accommodation at a hotel. Lunch. City tour of Minsk (founded in 1067) includes Independence square with the House of Government and "Red" Roman-Catholic Church, Victory Square with its 38 metre Obelisk and the Eternal flame, honoring the heroes of World War II, Troitskoye Predmestye (Trinity Suburb) - restored downtown of Minsk in the 19th century, Holy Trinity Cathedral and St. Catherin's Church (17th century).
Dinner. Evening ballet performance (on request).
Day 4
Breakfast.
Visit to the open-air museum of folk architecture and housing in Ozertso (18 km from Minsk). Village constructions having been kept up from previous centuries till nowadays introduce the rural style of life in different parts of old Belarus. The architecture, the interior of the houses show our ancestors' way of life. Lunch at a local restaurants. Departure to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.
Day 5
Breakfast.
City tour of Kiev, including St.Sophia Cathedral, Golden Gate, St.Vladimir Cathedral, St. Mikhaylo golden Domed, Mikhaylo's street. Lunch.
Excursion in Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra with visiting nearby caves.
Dinner at the National restaurant with a folklore show.
Day 6
Breakfast. Departure to the airport.
