National museum of history and culture of Belarus — the largest museum of Republic of Belarus on number of units of storage. It is located in Minsk on Karl Marx Street.
Today the museum contains about 370 thousand units of storage, thus their number constantly grows.
In a museum on a permanent 10 exposition and showrooms work. For a few years already expositions "Ancient Belarus (a primitive era and the Middle Ages)", "Ancient heraldry of Belarus", "From weapon history", "An old city life (XIX — the beginning of the XX centuries)" have been opened. Various exhibitions, including co-work with foreign museums are regularly held. Also active scientific work is conducted.
